This course covers a variety of child protection and safeguarding children issues and is suitable for anyone who comes into contact with children, including frontline professionals.

Participants will learn about the various types of abuse or neglect which children can be subjected to and the course will explain what you must do if you suspect that a child is being abused or neglected. The course includes coverage of the latest statutory regulation and guidance.

The course is relevant to those working in the Police, Social Services, Social Housing, Healthcare, Education (Early Years, Primary, Secondary, Further or Higher), Prisons, Secure Units, Probation, Youth Justice. It is also suitable for those working or volunteering in Sports Clubs & Associations, Youth Groups, Community Groups & Voluntary groups.
